Pancake or Waffle Batter Instructions

1 package Multigrain Pancake/Waffle mix
¾ cup buttermilk
½ cup milk
1 T butter, melted
½ t vanilla
1 egg
2 t maple syrup
2 oz. toasted chopped pecans (optional)

Place dry mix in medium mixing bowl.  In a separate
bowl, whisk together buttermilk, milk, melted butter,
vanilla, maple syrup and egg until well combined.  
Pour liquid ingredients into dry mix.  Mix just until
combined.  Do not over mix.  Let batter stand for
10-15 minutes.
